Early in January, I met with a social acquaintance who is a realtor to talk about a relocation within my current county. There is one primary reason to do it in general, but lots of smaller reasons for moving to the particular area we targeted. We met at a Starbucks in the target area. Didn’t see this until reviewing several days later. I was in NYC one day last week – my birthday! – for a job interview. I stood on the sidewalk in front of my potential new office building, looked downtown and this is what I saw.
Pretty cool view in and of itself, but check out what’s going on with the giant Snapple bottle on the upper right! A good omen? And what does it mean when a good omen is overlooked at first amidst all the busy confusion? I only saw it upon review. But I believe that is the primary function of review – to catch something one might have missed the first time around.
I choose to see it as an opportunity reclaimed, not lost!
